E.M.U.(Entertainment Music Unit) consists of 5 members.   They're Hikaru Midorikawa (緑川光), Hideo Ishikawa (石川英郎), Daisuke Sakaguchi (阪口大助), Ryotaro Okiayu (置鮎龍太郎), and Nobutoshi Hayashi (林延年). 

Anime fans should find their names very familiar, as they are the voices, the life behind many popular anime characters.  (^_^)

Note:  The information below is based on the CDs that I have.  2nd note:  I translated the song titles in a way that would at least make sense in English, so some of them are not literal direct translation (^_^)

CD's

The remix in this album is actually pretty cool.  I guess it has some kind of "ethnic" theme.  Like native drums, chants... background like the one in #10..  I especially like #7, 8 & 9.  (^_^)   The piano mix in #7 is so beautiful......

#3 is performed by Hikaru Midorikawa and Daisuke Sakaguchi, and #3 is performed by Ryotaro Okiayu, Nobutoshi Hayashi and Hideo Ishikawa.  My favorite one is # 2.  Again, I like all of the songs!!! 

LIVE!!!!!!!!!!(^0^)/  This live album has 4 very nice songs that aren't included in any of the other albums.  Namely, disc1 #4; #5 performed by Hikaru Midorikawa and Hideo Ishikawa; and #6 performed by Daisuke Sakaguchi, Nobutoshi Hayashi, and Ryotaro Okiayu.

The first 5 songs are solos performed by each member: 1- by Hayashi Nobutoshi, 2- by Okiayu Ryotaro, 3- by Midorikawa Hikaru, 4- by Sakaguchi Daisuke, 5- by Ishikawa Hideo.  And, 6- by everybody. 

3- performed by Ryotaro Okiayu, 4- by Hideo Ishikawa, 6- by Daisuke Sakaguchi, 7- by Nobutoshi Hayashi, 8- by Hikaru Midorikawa.  While I like every single song, my favorite here is "Girl".

E.M.U. CD Singles

Phantom is in a very cool Hip Hop style.... Totally COOL!  The 2nd song is really cool and upbeat too!  You want to start listening? then get this one, since it's a latest release (as E.M.U), as I'm typing these words.... (^-^)

Mountain is in a different mix than the one in "Smile A Go Go" album.  I like this mix better.

Books (ok, these aren't CDs, but... (^-^;;

E.M.U Memorial Collection is a book of essays, photos, info, etc... about E.M.U and its members; and E.M.U Song Book is a collection of words and music sheets of all the songs before Phantom, plus lots of pictures.

卒業 M

(Graduation M)

Same members as E.M.U, but this one is based on the manga, novel... characters...  They have the radio drama CDs, a Playstation game, and the 2-part OVA videos. 

#1 & #7 are by everybody.  #2 is by Hayashi Nobutoshi, #3 by Midorikawa Hikaru, #4 by Okiayu Ryoutaro, #5 by Ishikawa Hideo, #6 by Sakaguchi Daisuke.  #3 & #5 are very "powerfully adrenolinized" (well, "highly concentrated caffeine induced" for gals ), I recommend them if you really want to stay awake all night (^_^) .  #4 is a really nice guitar flick!  #7 is so nice too!

This is the music based on the game. Actually, depending on which character you played, when you clear the game, it gives you eye candies and the character's song. The game is typical "for girls only" type of mystery solving game, so it's kind of boring (for me, since I like hack and slash and shoot types), so I only cleared Tougo's character... But, you get to hear their voices so... hahah ^_^;;;

SO, this album consists of solos from the 5 members (so you don't have to clear every character hahahaha), except #1, which is performed by everybody. 2- Hikaru Midorikawa, 3- Ryotaro Okiayu, 4- Nobutoshi Hayashi, 5- Daisuke Sakaguchi, 6- Hideo Ishikawa.  My favorite is Labyrinth. And # 2 is a really really really cute and sweet and happy song.

By the way, did I mention Okiayu-san's voice is also the coolest? ^_^
